LIMITED CLEAR 4LP BOXSET

Eén jaar geleden schreven we in onze rubriek Gezien over het geweldige optreden van Porcupine Tree in de Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. Op tournee voor de indrukwekkende comebackplaat/afscheidsplaat (welke van de twee het is, laten ze nog altijd in het midden) Closure/Continuation speelden Steven Wilson, Richard Barbieri en Gavin Harrison samen met gastmuzikanten Randy McStine en Nate Navarro de tent drie uur lang plat, met een mix van de nieuwe plaat en een berg oude favorieten. Wat we toen niet wisten is dat die show werd opgenomen, zodat we hem een jaar later in onze schoen of onder de kerstboom terug konden gaan vinden. Closure/Continuation.Live belooft de kijker/luisteraar een belevenis alsof je erbij bent. Voor degenen die – zoals uw verslaggever – erbij waren, een mooie herinnering om op te halen, maar voor iedereen is het een weergave van een ijzersterke show van Porcupine Tree. (Louk Vanderschuren)
