BORN IN THE USA (40TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION)

Critical and commercial success: Springsteen's seventh studio album earned him a permanent place in the pop charts with seven top ten singles and made him a global superstar. He himself describes the title track as one of his best songs. The album is rightly regarded as a turning point in Bruce's career.

Bruce Springsteen's album Born In The U.S.A. is being reissued on colored vinyl (transparent red) to mark its 40th anniversary. Other special features of this edition: gatefold cover and an exclusive booklet with archive material from the time the album was made, new liner notes by Erik Flannigan and a four-color lithograph.
After its release on June 4, 1984, Born In The U.S.A. broke all records. Not only did seven titles from the track list make it into the top ten of the charts, something no artist had ever achieved before. The sales figures were also spectacular, with 17 million units sold (to date).
