POLL, EVERT VAN DE

Evert van de Poll (1952) heeft zijn professionele leven gewijd aan pastoraat, schrijven en lesgeven als hoogleraar theologie, maar muziek is altijd zijn passie gebleven. Gedurende zijn hele loopbaan in verschillende Europese landen heeft hij piano- en orgelconcerten gegeven, koren gedirigeerd, kerkdiensten begeleid en muziek gecomponeerd.

In september 2020 gaf hij een recital op het prachtige drieklaviers-orgel met zijn 38 stemmen in de Grand Temple van Nîmes, de protestantse kerk waar hij organist is. Met deze live-opname brengt hij hulde aan drie van zijn favoriete componisten.

Evert van de Poll (1952) has dedicated his professional life to pastoral ministry, writing and teaching as a theology professor, but music has always remained his passion. All along his career in several European countries he has given piano and organ concerts, conducted choirs, accompanied church worship and composed music.

In September 2020 he gave a recital on the beautiful three-manual organ with its 38 voices in the Grand Temple of Nîmes, the Protestant church where he is organist. Through this live recording he pays tribute to three of his favourite composers.
