GLIMLIP, SOREN SOSTROM & SOUL FOOD HORNS

Although they are all from different places, the three artists have come together through mutual friends and managed to find moments to share space and musical ideas. This album was the outcome of three sessions taking place in Amsterdam and Austin; starting with drum grooves by Glimlip, recording Elijah Fox's (Søren Søstrom) harmonic/melodic concepts on grand piano, and then expanding the arrangement under the direction of Louk Cox (Soul Food Horns), accessing a talented cast of session musicians including Yasper Molle (guitar - Amsterdam,NL), Noé Mina (trumpet - Chicago, IL), Greg Clifford (drums - Austin, TX) and many more.

The album is heavily composed of analog, non-looped material - blending Jazz, Electronica and Instrumental Hip-Hop while merging the worlds of live music and computer programmed material.
