STANZE

De Italiaanse pianist en componist Ludovico Einaudi brengt zijn oorspronkelijk in 1992 uitgebrachte tweede album "Stanze" opnieuw uit, echter nu met een interpretatie door harpiste Cecilia Chailly.

Chailly is een alom en met name door het Italiaanse publiek zeer gewaardeerde harpiste. Door haar manier van spelen heeft zij als het ware de harp opnieuw uitgevonden en horen wij hier als een vrij expressief instrument.

“Stanze”, in Nederlands vertaalt naar “kamers” is een cyclus van 16 stukken. Elke kamer is een aparte muzikale ruimte met zijn eigen kenmerken en eigenaardigheden en zijn onderling weer met elkaar verbonden als één groot gestructureerd geheel (het huis). Zeer toegankelijke muziek met een sterke muzikale lijn, zoals wij dit van Einnaudi kennen.

Deze heerlijke “onthaastings” muziek straalt echte rust uit!

Cecilia Chailly (electric Salvi harp)

Stanze (rooms) is a cycle of 16 pieces for harp composed in the course of two–three years, between 1990 and 1992. Originally composed for piano, Einaudi changed instrument when he heard Cecilia Chailly perform some of the works on electric harp and decided to entrust the playing of the whole project to this talented harpist. So, there is no piano, Einaudi’s signature is limited to the composition and the artistic production in the recording studio.
