Hoewel twee jaar geleden niet iedereen even enthousiast was over de introductie van synths in het massieve geluid van The Twilight Sad, vond ik No One Can Ever Know persoonlijk het beste album tot dan toe van deze Schotse postrockers. Op album nummer vier zijn de elektronische foefjes niet verdwenen, maar de vervormde gitaren spelen op Nobody Wants To Be Here And Nobody Wants To Leave wel weer een grotere rol. Dat is geen stap terug, maar the best of both worlds. Een nieuw hoogtepunt voor deze toffe band.
